To all of our valued guests,

 

I am reaching out on behalf of the entire Windswept family (Windswept on the Trent, Emilyville Inn, Hastings House B&B, Acorn Eco Cabin, Allan Mills Cottage, Seymour Point Cottage, and Elsie J’s historic house), to assure you that in times of uncertainty surrounding travel, your safety and well-being remain our highest priority.

 

We understand that you may be experiencing stress given the rapidly changing information on travel restrictions and cancelled or postponed public events. We want you to know that we are monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation closely, keeping those who are affected in our hearts, and are listening carefully to the questions and concerns we receive from guests such as yourself.

 

 Providing safe and clean environments for our guests and team members is always a top priority for Windswept–even more so today. We remain committed to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness, and want you to feel at ease when you visit our property, knowing you’ll experience the quality you expect from us.

 

The below precautionary and pro-active response measures are helping us continue to provide a safe and clean environment:

 

We are updating our COVID-19 guidance to our team members, in coordination with our Public Health team, on a daily basis, detailing best practices on how to protect against the transmission of the virus.

• We have installed additional hand sanitizer stations throughout the property.
• We have adopted a Mandatory Mask Policy (see "accommodations")
• We have brought in additional anti-bacterial cleaning products to increase the frequency in which high touch areas are disinfected.
• We have changed our buffet services for to served or plated options.

 

We will continue monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) updates, and will respond based on the advice of governments, public health authorities, and medical professionals.

 

Our mission statement at Windswept is to treat each guest and team member as though the success of our business depends on that individual alone. At all times and in all decisions we make, we are guided by our mission statement and will remain grounded to those core values.
